Buses on International Drive

Hi everyone - back again asking for advice Steve & I are hoping to go out for a meal on our own a couple of times and places along International Drive have been recommended by many on this forum - and of course, would like to have a drink [alcoholic]. Are there any buses we can use from the 192? We are staying down past Splendid China at Windsor Palms - any advice please?

Hi Veronica. I'm afraid there is not really much option with the buses away down in Kissimmee (especially from Windsor Palms), unless you want to change about three times and spend half the day doing it Really, your best bet is just to get a cab anywhere on to I-Drive (Orlando Premium Outlets is the closest from WP) and then use the I-Ride Trolley. Check out www.golynx.com for the main bus system (not much good to you, I'm afraid) and then www.iridetrolley.com.

Where abouts are you wanting to go on I drive ?

It might be quicker and easier to get a cab all the way. Some drivers will do a deal with drop off and pick up that is cheaper.

The Outlets close at 10pm If you are later than that there will be no point in going back there for a cab.

Thanks for your replies. Where would we be without you all to help!! We're probably going as far as the Mercado and it sounds as though we will be using taxis if we want to have a drink - are taxis fairly reasonable? and what would we tip the taxi driver?
