We haven't been to Downtown Disney and some time and we've never gone to West Downtown Disney. How long does it take to walk from one end of Downtown Disney to the other? Are there buses that take you around downtown Disney? Thanks, all.

Walking distance from end to end is about 3/4 mi.

There are no shuttle buses, but normally there is a water taxi that docks at 3 points. Right now, though, the Marketplace dock is closed for construction, so the water taxi only goes between West Side and the former Pleasure Island.

Between 11 am & midnight, you can hop on any resort bus at Marketplace and get off at PI, but there are no buses going back, and no buses to West Side.

I just want to make sure I understand the new information. There is now only one bus stop at DTD. And it is at the Marketplace. Is this correct?

So if you want to go to the Hess station you have to get off at Marketplace and walk? And then walk back with to Marketplace with your purcases:drinking1?

Yes, 'fraid so. It's only temporary until the new DTD central bus depot is built -- but it's a long temporary.

I can't tell you how much this thrills me...note sarcasm. We have reservations for Cirque, Raglan Road twice, House of Blues, and TREX all on different days. At least when I'm walking it will be at Disney!
