Just got my "official race information" email for the Enchanted 10k and I was reading about transportation. It says that all runners must be on the buses by 4:00 am so I was curious about how quickly they run buses, do we need to plan to be on the very first 3:30 bus to make sure we aren't late or can we take our time and be on the 4:00 bus and be fine. We are staying at Wilderness Lodge. This is our 2nd Disney race but the last one was Everest so the transport was completely different.

Thanks for any info and good luck to all the Princess runners!

I have a question about the buses as well and didn't want to start a whole new thread! I read in the email it said HOST hotels. Does this include all on property hotels? Or are there certain HOST ones? We're staying at OKW and I'd hate to have to drive...

TIA, couldn't find the info on the website.

I would go to the stop closest to the check-in area. In theory buses go around the loop, but in reality fill and leave the resort at the first stop.

I confirmed all hotels with runDisney:
"Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend transportation has been arranged for Guests staying at Walt Disney World ® Resort hotels including Shades of Green® and Walt Disney World ® Swan and Dolphin Resort. Buses will be indicated by runDisney Transportation signs placed in the front windows. Staff in yellow shirts will be onsite at the resorts and event locations to assist."

In the past it was hit or miss for Host Resorts; for Princess it appears to be all on property resorts.

I would shoot for 3:45 at the latest. There is no point in testing last minute arrival.
