Buses between resorts

Do buses run to take you to other resorts from your home resorts? I would like to take a bus from OKW to BCV to see my new home is this possible? I am thinking that I would have to take a bus from the resort to a park and then take bus to another resort. Seems like that could get confusing. My DH still thinks that the confusing bus route would be better than driving between resorts.

If you have a car then by all means drive. It will take you about 5 minutes to drive to BCV. If you take the bus you are looking at a trip of over one hour. There are no buses that run from resort to another resort unless they happen to be using the same bus for more than one resort of course. By bus you would be using two buses, no telling how long. Of course you could take a bus from OKW to MGM or EPCOT and walk to BCV. Driving with the free valet parking would be soooo much easier.

Disney does not provide resort to resort bus transport, except for resorts that share a route at certain times of day.

The advice usually given on the Transportation board is to change buses at one of the parks if they are still open and Downtown Disney otherwise.

As Beach Club Villas are just outside Epcot's International Gateway, why not combine a visit with a visit to Epcot? The International Gateway is between France & England, and BCV just a few minutes walk beyond.

PS if you don't want to use up a park entry that day, you could take the MGM bus then a pleasant boat ride to the Beach Club Pier and finish up on the Boardwalk opposite.

Well, if BCV is your new home resort, then two things. First, Welcome Home!!! Secondly, perhaps you'll want to change your sign on name, dvcwannabe. Now you are!

One way to see BCV is to include it in either your Epcot or MGM trip. You can walk or ride the bus to "home" as part of your day.

It's true that resort to resort travel anywhere at WDW can be maddening and take well over an hour. You can get back to OKW from BCV at night after the parks are closed by taking the bus to DD and then the bus to OKW. Or, you can catch a cab at BCV.
