Hi,:)

We may attend a conference at Coronado Springs and we were wondering how the buses would work if we stayed at the Boardwalk Villas or Beach Club Villas instead of Coronado Springs? Would we spend half our time on buses going back and forth?
If we stay at Coronado, is there an option of having a fridge and micro so we can save a few $$ on meals?

Thanks for any advice.

You would spend a great deal of time on the buses. You would have to travel to a park or to DTD from BW and then take a bus to Coronado.

There should be a fridge at Coronado, but I don't think any of the rooms (that aren't DVC) have microwaves.

CSR has a few microwaves that are on a first come, first serve basis. If you are not lucky enouhg to get one of those, you can rent one from http://www.abbf.com/pricelist.html

There are no buses that go directly resort to resort, so you would not be able to go from Coronado Springs to BW area. As said, you would have to transfer buses.
The refrigerators available in resort rooms are the small, dorm room type refrigerators.

CSR used to have a bus that went direct from CSR to the Boardwalk but that was discontinued. I wish it still was available.

It wouldn't be too bad since you're between MGM and Epcot - just walk or take the boat to either park and catch the CSR from there.

If you are at the Boardwalk, you can easily walk over to the bus stop area of Disney Studios. There will be a bus to CSR. It's about a 10 minute walk. At night, if you don't want to walk back, you can take 2 busses- CSR to DTD, and DTD to BWV.

You can take the boat from MGM too but it's a longer trip since the BW is the last stop.
