Staying here 16 Aug for 2 weeks and see there are 7 stops. Does this take forever? Stayed at POFQ last year & most of the time just the 1 stop, occaisionally stopped at POR. Is it best to get off at 1st stop & walk to room. We are hoping for Jamaica, which stop is this?

It's been awhile...I think it's the third or fourth stop. One night we got off at the first stop and walked and ended up not being too happy about that decision after having been on our feet all day.

We stayed in Jamaica and found that sometimes it was the first to drop off and sometimes it was the first to pick up. It just depends on which park you are headed to and which entrance the buses use.

The buses at the CBR do stop at all the bus stops but they are pretty efficient. It didn't take long at all to make the trip around the resort.

Most of the time, Jamaica is the 1st stop. Sometimes it is the 5th stop. Depending on which route the buses take.

We've been to CBR twice, and we've never thought it took too long for the buses to go through the resort. In fact, we actually LIKE the fact there are several stops, because that means there are never too many people at our stop. We just love CBR!!!!:cool1:

Thanks for your help. Do you get a route plan? Would hate to get off & find we were next stop.

When you check-in, you are given a resort map. The map shows the layout of the villages. The bus driver will announce which village he is approaching so you just listen for your village and you'll know when to get off.

Each village is painted a different color so if you forget where your village is on the map, that's okay, just look for your village color.

We stayed in Jamaica in August. We were the first stop. And the bus never went all the way around the resort picking up. We normally made three stops and then were on our way.

Buses going to/coming from Magic Kingdom and Downtown Disney (these are 2 separate buses) start at Martinique, and then go clockwise to Old Port Royale, Trinidad North, Trinidad South, Jamaica, Aruba, and then finally Barbados before heading to the destination.

Buses going to/coming from Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom (these are 3 separate buses) start at Jamaica, and then go clockwise to Aruba, Barbados, Martinique, Old Port Royale, Trinidad North, and finally Trinidad South before heading to the destination.

No, it doesn't take forever. The bus only holds a certain number of people. Whether they all get on/get off at one stop or seven stops, you still have to wait for them to get on and get off. The additional stops add something like 3 or 4 total minutes to the operation.
