Normally we always drive, but thinking of flying, using ME before it stops, and rent a car for tw0 or 3 days while there. Are buses crammed or are they spacing groups?

Are you wondering about the ME buses or any Disney bus transportation?

Magical Express may not be completely full. When we went in August, magical express was pretty full.

Disney transportation is back to full capacity, including guests standing! No distancing at all, but masks must be properly worn.

My wife just got back last week and she said mask enforcement on buses is not happening very much. On most of her bus rides she saw several people and/or families not wearing them properly or not wearing them at all and most times the drivers were not saying anything.

The drivers are instructed to make sure that masks are being worn properly as guests board the bus. Once the bus is in motion it is their responsibility to get you safely to your destination. The drivers must pay attention to the road. It is nearly impossible to monitor if a guest removes or is improperly wearing a mask while driving the bus.

We just got back from a trip 2 weeks ago. Most people were following the mask rules, but there were several who were not. Some were just forgetful from coming outside without wearing a mask and some were just not concerned about it at all. They would put in on long enough to get in and then just pull it down or take it off completely. To be fair, it was 100° in the shade almost every day so it was not comfortable in a mask at any point....But rules are rules.

IN my opinion, I believe Disney has seemed to take the approach of reminding people to put their masks on where required but not enforcing or "causing a scene" if people do not comply. I can understand their reasoning....The CMs are not in a position to be "enforcers" of a controversial and often heated subject. Moreover, I think everyone that walks through the Disney gates understands the current risk in doing so and while Disney can only do so much the responsibility of accepting that risk and coming to Disney during COVID ultimately falls on the individual guest.

I was there a few weeks ago.
The bus drivers would always get off the bus as people boarded to make sure they were wearing masks. I did not see people on the buses i was on take them off but I am 100% sure some will as they do everywhere Note the escape hatch/roof vents were open on the buses for ventilation which did make them warm if you sat in the back. ME gave you a seat assignment at the airport this did not happen on the way back but there were maybe 16 people total on the bus. Most rides/shows they would interupte if someone took thier mask off or wore below their nose. this happened at least once a day on the rides we went on. Out dooor rides like slinky dog there was no mask required as well as lines outside but always a cast member at the door making sure masks were on. Stores Etc there was always a CM asking you to put a mask on if you forget within a few feet of entering if not a person at the door. My though was Disney did a great job at trying enforcing the Orange county Mask mandate. Where I live no one sadly makes any effort to enforces any of the state mandates including on trains.
