Buses and real time GPS

I remember reading a couple of years ago about buses having real time GPS locations integrated in the MDE app, so you will be able to see where exactly your bus is at any given moment. I thought this was a brilliant idea and was looking forward to having this in the app. It would work just like the wait time monitors at some resort bus stops, but with a map showing its location just like you see with Uber and Lyft. Still waiting...anyone with info on this?

Never happened. Likely never will. Disney doesn't know where a bus is going until it's on its way. And, they don't know where it will go from there until it gets there. They don't run on a set schedule or route.
