We will be staying at Endless Summer (2-2023) and I'm confused about the buses. Is there an online schedule or is it just posted locally? From the website it sounds like the buses start 1-hour before the park opens, but if you have early admission that means the buses start when you can enter the park. If that is the case may be it's best to drive? I've seen that it's best to get there 30-45 minutes before ropedrop.

We've only stayed at Cabana Bay, but the busses started rolling about an hour before Early Admission started - bus service at UO is wonderful - they roll one right after another after another - you'll be fine using the busses :)

Ok, thanks.. the wording on the site was a little odd.. :D

I would take their bus. If you drive you will have to pay to park at CityWalk.

They run before Early Entry. Looking back over my notes from early May we were at Endless Summer Surfside for 2 days although technically 3 days 2 nights (then went over for 1 night at Royal Pacific) but we went to the parks for 3 days (2 of them using EP that came with RP).

First day a bus was waiting at 7:35am for us, hopped on and quickly left. Early Entry that day was 8am-9am. We were in line for Hagrid's (that unfortunately went down although we had just gotten in line others had been in there for longer) by 8:05am. I'm sure there was a bus or two before the one we got on.

The second day we didn't make it for the beginning of Early Entry which for that day was 7am-8am but we hopped on the bus at 7:30am. I'm sure there were busses before that time.

I concur about the bus service. We had been told by our DISer friends down in Orlando that the bus service was sooo much better than Disney's and they weren't lying.

To give you a tad info about Endless Summer, Surfside gets picked up first then the bus heads over to Dockside. If the bus is too full it bypasses Dockside. I don't have first hand experience of Dockside since we stayed at Surfside but my assumption is a bus would get sent over to Dockside so guests aren't waiting too too long but I can't confirm that. Either way their bus service truly was efficient.

Also for us Early Entry was only IOA while we were there, it is often only one of the parks but it can at times be both. Check back to their website when your trip gets closer to see which park(s).

We are at Dockside now, buses start at 7am. Not waited more than 2 minutes on a bus so far. We did early entry on 7/4 and caught the bus at 7.10am, took 6 minutes and security lines were really quiet.

We commented last night on how good the bus service has been. There was a large line last night at the resort, first bus filled up and went 2 minutes later a mears bus appeared and took everyone else. Left universal about 10.20pm last night, large bendy bus at the stop,

Really liking the resort.

We also commented that too.

We went one night where it was Grad Nite and they had brought a Mears coach bus out for Endless Summer. The night before they had used the Volcano Bay buses (they bend in the middle) at park close and there were a lot of people leaving the nighttime show like we were over at the Studios. We never waited more than 5 mins and we went back during the day too. You're back at Endless Summer before you know it too
