Interesting, I have just bought 4 x Play & Dine at Busch tickets for $84.99 ($90.94 with tax - so £59 each) directly from their website. The benefit here being that we get food so seems like a good deal.

I recall on a previous thread that the OP was unable to buy when they put their details in - yet I had no problem:

http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2928680

I completed all my details, gave my UK address and card details and the order went through with out any issue - maybe is this because I have bought from them before and my email address is registered.

So, here is my question - there is nothing in the Terms & Conditions that references Non UK. And there is nothing on the e-tickets themselves - so will I be fine - after all I was able to process an order supplying my UK details and it was not prevented.

If I was in the UK I am sure I would be fine - but not sure how US consumer law works and whether I should contact them.

Hi, I am the original OP and kept getting the message that the offer wasn't open to non US residents, but well done on being able to get them, if the payment has gone through ok I'm sure you will be fine!

I have since bought mine from UCT, still sad I couldn't get the dining though :sad1:

Just had an email from Busch:

Thank you for contacting Busch Gardens. The tickets you purchased are good. There was a time that the promotion was only open to certain areas. They have just recently opened the promotion to everybody.
*
I wish you safe travels for your holiday and an enjoyable visit to Busch Gardens Tampa Bay.

If I can be of further assistance, please feel free to contact me.

So it looks like the $84.99 with free dining ticket is now good for UK visitors!

I've never been to busch and we have a day spare, is that a good price?

That is great that you were able to get the offer Zoe. When you look on the website at the offer and the 'More Details' window, it still says valid for US, Canada and Puerto Rico residents :confused3 However, if you have an Email from them and the actual tickets, then I can't see that you will have a problem. Well done :thumbsup2

We did not want to do Seaworld this trip so were only interested in Busch Gardens - cheapest you can get 1 park tickets is $75 / £50 this offer has them with the unlimited food for $85 / £57.

$10 for the food/drink seems a great deal to me

As above for a 1 day ticket you are probably as well buying this deal but if you want to visit SW also then probably better with other tickets.
£57 is for 1 park, 1 day with food but you can get 14 days in both SW & Busch for £79.
Or if you go often the AP's are best value, we pay £77/year for both parks with free parking, discounts & freebies, not sure of latest prices.

Annual pass to cover both parks is $138 without parking etc. or with all the perks of food discount and parking it's $168.

This AP voters SW and BG

I park only is $119

We took out the 2 year deal on EZpay, you only pay an extra $75 for the 2nd year, they take $10pppm from my credit card, its gone up slightly but not much, I think it would be $10.87/month now. Great option for anyone that goes every year, not for a one off trip.

As other posters have said depends on your plans.

If we had known last October we would return this year in August we could have saved a small fortune by buying Annual Passes.

We already have Disney & Universal tickets arranged and only wanted to do Busch so this ticket offers fantastic value for us - a SW/BG ticket would have cost £79 in the UK + £11 for lunch so £90 a person. Plus we have booked the free Busch Shuttle to take us there and back so no parking/petrol either!

The ticket has saved us around £120 as it fits what we want, so if you only have one day spare - its a great deal! If you know you'll be back within a year or fancy SW there are better options.

have done this in the past at SW.if you only want a drink you que for it,no need to get everything.Same for the rest of the food.We would just get a piece of pizza sometimes

Do you think it will work with Seaworld? We were going to give it a miss this year as splitting our hol between Disney & universal, if we can get the dining for 1 day while at RPR, we can take off what it would cost us to eat (free DDP at Disney) plus only take up the 1 day. Although, never been to Busch Gardens?

we are going on the wednesday 22nd and the Busch coach picks up from Universal.

I checked on the Seaworld tickets website and it seems you can only do the dining as a full price addon rather than as a combo offer at Busch.

We love Busch - great park, great rides and great animals and breaks up our universal stay. Our DS is 12 now but small for his age - last year when he was 11 was the first time he could do everything - we all loved it - must confess I ducked out of one of the flume rides as I just I'd not want to get soaked - but enjoyed waiting to film the family come down and watching family after family who chose to ignore the 'remove all loose items' warning - in fact it was hysterical watching them flap and try to catch their baseball hats & sunshades - much better that getting wet!!

Googled Seaworld Play & Dine & it came up, seemed to accept my details but I didn't put in payment ones. It did say for US & Puerto Rico but as Busch Gardens also said that, it could be okay. Knew we could get a bus from RPR to Seaworld but didn't realise you could get one for BG. Will see what Norman & Stephen fancy.
Thanks for the heads up.

I couldn't buy online, bought at the Passport office as we entered Seaworld.

Sharon - when you buy the tickets on Busch it shows which ones transport is available with - you can then book via this link:

Good luck - can't remember what day you get to RPR - but as mentioned we have scheduled Busch for the Wednesday (we arrive sun 19th)

Zoe

oh right thanks for that, will try there then, :)

Might be worth calling them or sending an email to confirm we can still buy them. then you can look at alternatives if they have changed the rules. Don't see why they would though.
