There is a lot of other things at BG not just the big coasters. They have two or three excellent water rides, some nice animal enclosures and some good kiddies areas. Have a great trip

From your question I couldn't tell what your alternative is. But if its between Busch Gardens and Animal Kingdom then definately go for AK. You'll find better entertainment at AK than BG - especially if you don't go for all the thrill rides that BG has in abundance.

Busch Gardens is one of my favourite parks. There is a lot more there than Animal Kingdom, although they aren't as slick as Disney. You don't say how old your daughter is but if she's under 10 there's a great kids play area. Rhino Rally is better than Kilimanjaro Safari in my opinion. My daughter was the navigator (ask to sit next to the driver) and got us "lost" She came off with the biggest grin of the holiday. All of the other passengers spoke to her later and told her what a good job she'd done, and that they didn't blame her too much.

This might be the opportunity for your girls to get over theri fears of the big rides. My navigator daughter (11 years) was scared of the big rides until she forced herself to go on one of the smaller ones. After that we couldn't keep her off.

It is a long drive especially if you get lost like we did. I think that it's a good idea to take a rest day after doing BG.

Hi,

I think whether it's worth the money may depend on when you're going and how old your daughter is.

We went last summer and didn't enjoy it much as the rides got very busy, as with all parks, but there was no Fastpass/Universal Express system. As we aren't prepared to wait in Qs we gave most rides a miss. I also thought the park was overly tacky. AK has it's tacky fairground area in Dinoland but at least the toys you win there are of a decent quality.

If you are going outwith peak times the queues will be less so no Fastpass is less of a problem and you'll have fun.

If your daughter is young (6ish) then she will enjoy the kids area.
