Is it really a better deal to get combo tickets? I know there are packages with hotels included but we wouldn't need a hotel, taking RV down. Any suggestions?

Are you going to Busch Gardens and Water Country? And how many days are you going? They have a bunch of different ticket options

They do have combo passes that include Busch Gardens/Water Kingdom and entrances into all the historical spots. Some are for x amount of days and some are annual passes. You might want to call Williamsburg directly and inquire about your options. When we went 2 years ago, it was cheaper to purchase a 5 day ticket than a 3 day ticket!

We would be there from 5-7 days. I'm also trying to see if buying with our AAA card would be better We would be going to Water Country also.

Krisu - to be nosey - when are you going? Have you found a place to camp? There are some great places - the KOA, if it's still there, was a place my aunt and uncle use to camp at and we always had a great time.

 

[TRAPPED-PARENT]

We went to Busch Gardens in VA a few years ago and were ready to leave by 3:00. Another family had purchased the 2-day tickets and were trying to get their money back for the 2nd day because they, too, had seen/done everything in less than a day.
