Busch Gardens Williamsburg Concert ?

I was wondering if any of you guys have been to a concert at BG? If you have can you tell me how far in advance you need to get to the concert area? Is it standing, seated, can we bring blankets? I'm not about to lug 7 lawn chairs through the park, but I will bring blankets. Can we bring drinks and snacks or do they sell food nearby?

Credence Clearwater Revival is this weekend and David Cook is coming up. My girls want to see Emily Osment (Hannah Montana's best friend Lilly) in late August.

They do sell drinks and food back in the section where the concerts are held. You can also bring drinks and food into the area.

We saw the skateboarding show there in May and had to sit on the grass....I would bring a blanket if you can....esp since a thunderstorm is likely in the month of August.

Saw the CCR concert last night and it was awesome!
Plan on bringing a blanket & bottled water in. While they do sell food & drinks a bottled water is $3.25 So save yourself some money and just bring in some cold bottled water.

They also rent chairs at $10 a pop. (you're not allowed to bring in lawn chairs but a blanet on the hill is nice.)

Concert is at 6 PM & they open the gates 2 hours earlier (4PM). We got there around 5:20 and had a good spot.
