Busch Gardens VS Universal

Living in the Central Florida area, I have worked for Universal and been to Busch Gardens several times. Both have a lot of variety for kids so you can't go wrong with either. I would prefer Universal over Busch Gardens though if you want my personal opinion. Universal having two parks has way more to offer then Busch Gardens plus everyime I have gone to Busch Gardens it feels so muggy and humid there then in the Orlando area.

We did an Orlando area vacation a couple of years ago. At the time my niece was 3.5. She had a great time at Suess' Landing in IOA and in the kiddie areas of US. She liked Busch Gardens. Her favorite park - SeaWorld! You might want to consider it if you haven't been.

You didn't define how old "little" is so I'm basing my opinion on toddler/preschool age which is what I'd consider little.

While Universal has a few attractions for the younger set and the advantage of being close to WDW, I really think Busch Gardens is a much more entertaining park for a younger child. There aren't really a lot more ride/attraction offerings but the animals and atmosphere make the public areas of the park far more user friendly and enjoyable for a young child IMO.

I also agree with the previous poster about SeaWorld - it's very child friendly and has LOTS of entertainment options.

Agree with VegasMike21 here - I personally love both parks but for little ones, in IOA, Seuss Landing is fantastically themed and US kids area (Woody Woodpecker?) too.

Busch is a fantastic place too but I always seem to feel the heat more there.

I love BG's it is our fav. but have to say either one has great attractions for little ones if you are doing both parks at US. If not I think there are more at BG.

Our kids always loved Universal when they were younger. We, unfortunately, never took them to Busch Gardens (we did take them to Sea World and they loved that too). DH and I went to Busch Gardens two years ago while in Florida for 10 days (a break from Disney) and we were very disappointed. The park was hotter than the Animal Kingdom and half of the rides were either not running or they were working on them. We ended up leaving at 1:00 and drove to the beach.

Hmmmmm...difficult...I adore Busch (SheiKra!), but for little kids I think I'd go with Universal and IOA. They have such neat kiddie areas. Not that Busch doesn't too but not so much better that it's worth a drive. If they were older coaster fanatics, I'd say Busch in a heartbeat.
