We used the Busch Gardens shuttle transport in July with our DS who also uses a wheelchair.
You need to call 1-800-221 1339 and book this a few days ahead and let them know you have a wheelchair user in your party. If your DS can transfer onto the coach you could travel in that and fold his chair, but if he needs to travel seated in his wheelchair they will accommodate your party in a smaller wheelchair accessible van.
We found the service absolutely fantastic, we caught the shuttle from Seaworld at 9am. They laid on a wheelchair accessible van just for us and our driver, Tom, was so sweet and helpful. He dropped us right at the park entrance and picked us up there too, arriving early in case we had had enough and wanted to leave then. We had an awful journey back to Orlando due to the effects of hurricane Dennis, but Tom was fabulous telling us what to do if the hurricane hit near us and offering to drive us back to our hotel rather than have us driving back from Seaworld in the terrible storm.
I would definately use the service again.

thanks for info
what is the normal shuttle like my ds can transfer from his wheelchair but he can't climb steps is the shuttle a low floor type or does it have steps? :wave2:

I don't know (hopefully someone will), but the shuttles that are not wheelchair accessible tend to be either large buses, like the picture near the middle of this webpage that shows a big bus labeled "Busch Gardens Shuttle Express." Or, possibly a smaller bus, but still with one to three steps up.

Actually, even better, I found the webpage for Atlas Transportation, which is the company that does the Busch Gardens Shuttle. If you click the "Vehicles" button, it takes you to a page that shows the vehicles types they have. i noticed it doesn't show the accessible van like loadsapixiedust used.
There is also a "Contact Us" link on the first page so that you could send them an email with your questions.

The coaches we saw were the kind with several steps up, it sounds like you would be better with the minivan that we had, which had a lift on the back.
I would explain this to them when you book as they may have low floor buses too, just we didn't see any of that type.
BTW :wave2: Forgot to welcome you to the boards before!

thanks suem link for atlas was useful i have sent them an e mail so hopefully will get a reply soon i will let you know what they say thanks again

We have used the bus service to Busch Gardens 3 times. Our son uses a wheelchair and we have used the service from Seaworld and he has always been treated with the greatest respect. He has been loaded on to the shuttle bus first and he has always been made to feel his trip tp Busch Gardens was well worth the visit,
