We will be touring Busch Gardens Thurs 8-3-12 and Friday 8-4-12. My kids are major roller coaster fans and are super excited to ride all of the roller coasters at BG.

Do you know, or can guess what the crowd level will be like on these two days?

Has anyone purchsed the unlimitted Quick Que pass? Should I purchase it ahead of time or wait until the day of. I am nervous about buying it a head of time, as i see it is non-refundable. I would not want to spend the $200.00+ if it's going to rain us out.

Any thoughts or tips?

If you get to the park at opening you might be able to do the coasters with little wait, hit the biggies first,Sheikra,Cheetah Hunt,Montu and Gwazi.By doing this you might avoid having to spend the extra money for the quick queue pass. After getting on the coasters then you can do the shows and other attractions in the middle of the day when the crowds are heaviest. The park should be open later than usual so you can go back to the coasters in the afternoon and night when crowds calm down.If your plan is to hit the coasters all day long with minimal waits then go ahead and buy the pass but I would wait and buy it at the park in case of rain.

Like at Disney get there at "rope drop".
We went Sat June 9 and Sunday the 10th. We got there at opening on Saturday and walked onto Cheetah Hunt. Several other coasters went out half full.
We slept in on Sunday but were at the park about a half hour or so after opening. Cheetah Hunt showed a wait time of 35 minutes and we did wait that long.
It's hard to believe the difference an hour can make but get to the parking lot about 20 minutes before park opening and be ready to hurry to your first choice and then move along to the rest before it gets busy.
It also gets slow the last few hours so you can ride a lot then.
See the animals and shows midday when the park is most crowded.

We were there Memorial Day. Thought it would be crowded. Found it not nearly as busy as we expected. Arrived at opening. Went 1st off to Cheetah Hunt. Had heard it was newest and most crowded. DS10 and DH rode it twice while we were there. Took about 20 minutes the 1st time around and 30 minutes the 2nd time around. We didn't wait near that long for any of the other coasters throughout the day. Rode all the coasters at least 2-3 times each. After Cheetah Hunt we toured the park in a circular pattern hitting rides as we got to them. Didn't find it necessary to criss cross. Most rides were walk on - 20 minute waits tops.
