Busch Gardens Halloween Tix?

So I was on the website looking at tickets for their Howl-o-scream party. We are a family of 3 looking to go on a Thursday night. Tickets are $48 per person. However on Thursday nights they have a special family 4 pack deal, tickets are $30 per person must buy at least 4. Well with tax the individual tickets will be $156 vs $128 for the family pack. Is there any reason I can't buy the 4 pack and maybe give a ticket away at the gate? It'll be cheaper for me (enough to cover snacks) and I share some good vibes? Anyone done this?

Personally, I see nothing wrong with this as you may be helping someone else save a little bit of money. However, I am waiting to see all the "Goody Two-Shoes" that will chime in and tell how it is "against the rules".

I see the living social deal for Williamsburg but not Tampa. Also we plan to go on a Thursday night and that deal is for Fri/Sat only. ;(

Either way, even if I don't give the free ticket away I'm still saving $30 which will cover snacks/drinks for the night so I still win. If I can pay-it-forward even better. I know I would be thrilled if I walked up planning to spend $50 to get in & got a free ticket.

We've done this, both at BG and our local minor league baseball games. We buy tix for everyone, someone gets sick or whatever, so we just look for someone who could use some unexpected good karma.
