Hi! We will be at SSR at the end of February (right after Presidents' weekend). Just wondering how the wait times and crowds have been on SSR busses recently. We usually stay in the Grandstand section, which is the first stop, but this trip we'll be in Springs or Congress Park, which are later in the resort loop. Has anyone experienced an overcrowded bus and had to wait for another? Wondering if we might need to walk to Paddock stop. Also, how long have the waits been in the mid-morning (not rope drop early)? We don't mind waiting 15-20 minutes, but hope not to have excessive waits. Thanks!

Any update on this. Trying to decide if we should drive to MK tomorrow morning or take the bus from Grandstand. Planning for rope drop, come back for a nap then head back in the early evening.

I don't have the SSR knowledge to answer your question, but I have the following policy: Never drive to the MK for rope drop.

@wnielsen1 is correct - never drive to MK for rope drop.

The bus station is directly outside the MK gates and has its own security entrance. The TTC parking lot is across the lagoon, and you have to get through security (along with all the non-resort guests arriving at the same time), then ride the ferry or monorail across the lagoon before you can reach the MK gates. It adds quite a bit of time to the trip.

If you're not interested in being there for rope drop, then driving to MK is fine.

The Grandstand is the first bus stop. I have never heard of the bus filling up on the first stop. Just don’t forget since you are on property you can go to the 30 min early morning time.

We stayed at SSR in March. Our off-site traveling companions met us at the Grandstand bus stop each day and we never had to stand on the bus. Because they were off-site, we did not go during the early morning time.
