a few years back i had a bus driver named mark i think he was kinda crazy telling jokes , body surfing stuffed eyor does anyone know if hes still there

Ahhh yes, Big Marc. He left the company for awhile. He did return... although since I haven't been in buses in a long while, and worked opposite shifts as him, I cannot say if he is still there. My guess would be yes.

I've met Marc! He had everyone on the bus from DTD to AKL singing Wheels on the bus, go round, round, round! A fun guy!

Wow, that sounds so cool! I haven't gotten a fun bus driver in so many years. On my next solo trip, I'm planning to take a whole day of just "bus riding" from place to place (is there anyone else here who'd enjoy that-just a whole day of "take the first bus that comes"). I really hope I meet him or someone just as funny.

Our last trip, we never had a driver who interacted with passengers either. I really missed that because we've had some fun ones in the past. It sure makes the time pass quickly when you get a driver like that and it's really nice to see everyone (or most everyone) laughing or smiling and having a good time.

Not to put a damper on the spirit, because I do agree, a good driver makes a difference, but Federal Law prohibits the drivers from interacting with the passengers during travel. It's for your own safety... we all know about the crazy drivers. Personally, I'd rather the driver pay attention to the road, instead of random trivia.

Within 18 months Walt Disney World will be introducing Automated spiels and background music on the Disney Buses to inform and entertain guests. This will allow the Bus Driver to concrete on the road rather than telling trivia and jokes.

Also when I drive the buses I only spiel when departing and arriving at the Destinations for Safety reasons I do not do Jokes or trivia, those who do are breaking the law and can be charge in the event of accident.

All of the bus drivers we had when we were there were great. The one night we were coming back and no one else was on the bus with us the driver droped us off as close as he could at CBR in Jamaica when it was really rainy by driving us into the parking lot loop. That was just nice of him.
