Bus transportation TL-POR resorts

Anyone have any recent experience with the buses to and from TL and POR resorts? Is it worse in one direction? Does one direction include a trip through DTD and not the other?

generally they stop at DTD on the way back from Typhoon lagoon. I know one time in the morning hours the drive asked us if we wanted to stop at Blizzard Beach on the way to DAK, but that was the morning and no one was heading to the water park then.
