Bus Transportation from Magic Kingdom to Other Parks

Can you take a Disney bus from Magic Kingdom to other parks, like Hollywood Studios, or do you need to go to the Transportation and Ticket Center first? Thanks!

For a direct bus to Hollywood Studios or Animal Kingdom,you would have to go to TTC.

BUT,you could also walk to Contemporary Resort and catch a DHS or DAK bus from there.

For Epcot,there is no bus at all.It is Monorail service from TTC.

Another option to get to DHS is to take a bus from MK to the Boardwalk and from there either walk or take a boat to DHS,you could also walk to EPCOT's International gateway entrance from to the Boardwalk.For AK your best option is the TTC.

But, here's the long answer about the Park buses:

There is "direct" transportation between all the WDW theme parks.

Most routes are via Disney Buses.

Here are the "park-to-park" Disney Transportation direct connections:

MK/TTC> DHS = Bus
MK/TTC> AK= Bus

AK> DHS= Direct Bus
AK> Epcot= Direct Bus
AK> TTC/MK= Bus

DHS> TTC/MK= Bus
DHS> AK= Direct Bus
DHS> Epcot= Direct Bus (Epcot Front Gate) or Boat (Epcot Intl. Gateway)

Epcot > TTC/MK= Monorail
Epcot > AK= Direct Bus

The buses have their destinations shown on them on illuminated signs.
The bus stops at the parks are also marked with signage.

As a rule-of-thumb, allow 40-60 minutes to get from the gates of one park to the gates of another park.

I would say your better off getting these buses from the Transportation & Ticket Center, because it would be a direct ride to the Hollywood Studios and the Animal Kingdom.

Yes you can also walk to the Contemporary and get those same buses from there, however they share bus service with the Polynesian and Grand Floridian. So I think because of that it would take longer getting to those parks.

If I'm hopping over to DHS from MK, I go from one of the resorts and take bus. The few times I used the bus at TTC, we waited for what seemed like a very long time, but that may be because at TTC park bus stop area isn't as pretty or comfy as the bus stops at the resorts. Time went by really slowly, and it was hot and diesel fumey.
