Bus transp. to and from AKL

With AKL so isolated, so far away from almost everything, how is the bus service to and from the resort?

Okay, I couldn't keep a straight face if I had said that. However, we have found AKL to be one of the better resorts for transportation. It is all by bus, but they ran fine and we noticed no excessive waits, during our last visit.

You know how Disney is great at creating illusions? AKL being far and isolated is another one of those great illusions.

Just stayed at AKL in mid september. We had no problem with the Busses. We hardly waited either coming or going. They typically weren't that crowded.

However, we did take a cab back a couple of times. Once, when we went to the Luau at Poly, we just took a cab back since there is no direct bus from Poly to AKL and it was raining. The other time was when my wife and I returned from DTD after dinner. We came out of DTD and there was a cab sitting there, so we jumped in.
