Bus to World of Sports

We'll be at the All Star Resorts from Apr21-24 for a World Cheerleading event at the World of Sports. Does anyone know what kind of bus service they may provide? Would it be a direct bus between World of Sports and All Star Sports Resort of will we need to transfer somewhere else. I rented a car since I figured it would be a lot faster, but can always cancel if I need to. Anyone here know what they typically do for transport for these 5000+ folks?

The only transportation to WWoS is from Disney MGM Studios.

There is a bus that runs back and forth from the Studios to WWoS from 8am to 8pm.

Anything before that, or anything after that you have to provide your own transportation, so keep that car!!

The team/squad may be able to make special arrangements with Disney (as in pay for it), for direct transportation for competitions, but there is nothing regular.

Check with the group/TA who is arranging your accomodations/sponsoring the Event. These large group events often have special transportation arrangements to get the competitors to the WWOS from the "package" resorts - especially if there are lots of young people involved..

YW....congrats on attending Worlds at Disney!

If it is anything like last year when we went. You will check in at the Allstar Resort in the side parking lot. Park your car and I doubt you will drive it again. The Worlds staff actually has an entire fleet of buses that will transport you (if you booked your hotel room with a Worlds package or with your teams package, you will have a namebadge/pass) back and forth to the Milk House for the competitions. As for parks transportation or transportation to Pleasure Island or Downtown Disney, use the Allstar Resort buses at the front of the resort. They run from early in the morning til late at night and quite efficent. You more than likely will not even need to use your car!!

We will be there the same weekend. I am sure it will be prove to be tons of fun and quite exciting for everyone!! The best of luck to your gym and team!
