We will be going to WDW in June. Thanks to Magical Express we will not have to rent a car. We want to go to SeaWorld. Has anyone taken the public transit from DTD? Is is easy? or should we rent a car for one day. Any suggestions

The local bus system at www.golynx.com has their Route #50 which makes stops at both the Transportation and Ticket Center and Sea Harbor Drive at Central Florida Parkway (Sea World). It starts at TTC at 7:18am and runs every 30 minutes until 10:18pm. Coming back it departs Sea World beginning at 6:39am every 30 minutes with the last run at 9:39pm. Travel time (per the schedule) is 21 minutes.

We took the lynx busses all around when we went last june. the transfer points were convenient, and we saw a lot of Orlando. We went to the Florida mall and the outlets. The Florida mall was a long ride but my family gets off on seeing the "normal" things in a new place. Took the bus to Sea World and was able to transfer to the I Trolley at sea world. The drivers were all very kind and there is this electric road map on the bus that tells you where you are at by popular destination and your ETA. We will be using them again this April :wave2:

You can go to the front deck of your hotel and have them call Mears for you to arrange transportation to and from Sea World. We used them to travel to sea world and Universal on our last trip. They picked us up right out front of the hotel and right at the entrance to sea world for the ride home. If I remember correctly it is about $8.00 per person, roundtrip.

We have been to Orlando several times and we did not know there was a bus route between attractions! This is very helpful....

Thanx for the great question/answers. I wanted to take my DS6 to Seaworld and never had the guts to try to figure out how. I was going to go in Oct just Mom/Son trip and stay across the street (i figured we could walk). But now I am going to plan a day from WDW. This will cut down on the MYW # of days I have to purchase.

My DH will be surprised too. We get to go visit Shamu.

Thanx again.

thanks for all the info. Now that we don't have to rent a car, we can spend more money on fun stuff. :)
