bus to MK?

In all my trips to WDW I've never used the buses. We always have a car with us. My question is, when you take the bus from your resort to the MK do you still have to board the boat or monorail or do you bypass them?

You do not have to stop at the Transportation and Ticket Center to take the ferry or monorail to the MK if you arrive on the resort buses. The buses deposit you near the main entrance, just around to Contemporary side. You'll walk past the ferry stop on your way to the gate.
