Hi. We're staying at the All Star Movies Resort and plan to spend an evening at Downtown Disney. We are having dinner at House of Blues - is the bus stop by pleasure island a long walk to the restaurant? We have a 3 year old and wondering if we should drive and try and park closer or take the bus. Thanks!

About a 5 minute walk from the Pleasure Island/Hyperion Wharf bus stop,Am I the first person to refer to PI as HW?

Yes, you are the first and you win First prize. All expense paid, bus, boat, and monorail rides at WDW for you and your entire family for the rest of your life, and beyond.

Not as long a walk compared with from the bus stop to Akershaus or San Angel Inn (restaurants at Epcot World Showcase).

It's not a horrible walk BUT we often go to Disney and stay at the different resorts. Typically we have a car; sometimes not...at any rate I ALWAYS avoid the buses to DTD and back. From All Stars the DTD bus will hit all three of the All Stars and possibly stop at a water park (depending on the time of day and time of year). Somehow they make the bus trip go on forever. Instead of going straight down Buena Vista Drive the bus will loop around and go behind the Treehouses and Saratoga Spring so it ends up at the other end of Buena Vista Drive to enter the bus area of DTD from the right. Further the stop you want would be the second stop at DTD.

If you drive its a straight shot and park in the lot near La Nouba. Enter alongside of La Nouba and you can walk right up to HOB.

Coming back from DTD the buses are often very crowded. If you have a car definitely take it.

It's a little shorter walk if you park behind La Nouba, there is a walkway that enters DTD between La Nouba and HOB, unless you get a front row parking spot in the main parking lot which isn't likely. And then it would be about the same distance.
Try the Calamari at HOB I thinks it's the best I have ever had.
