Bus to Boardwalk?

I've never been to the Boardwalk at WDW and would like to check it out on my next trip.

Does anyone know if the other resorts have a bus that goes straight to the Boardwalk or would I take a bus to a park (which one?) and then to the Boardwalk? Would I take the Boardwalk hotel bus?

Sorry, that's a lot of questions!

Any info or recommendations would be great, thanks!

dont know which resort you're at but a bus does not go to the boardwalk.
Take a bus to a park (epcot is closest to boardwalk- though that may not mean the trip will be fastest) and then hop on the bus or boat there to the boardwalk.
Or u could take a cab ride for a few bucks dependign on where you're at.
But the boardwalk is tons of fun adn lots of dining in that area. Worth looking at.

Hi,

Unfortunately there are no resort-to-resort buses at WDW.

You can catch a bus to the BW from the MK, AK, or DTD.

You can also take a bus from a resort to the Studios and either walk or take the ferry over to the BW.

Or, if you are coming from another resort, the fastest and easiest way would be to take a taxi.

Just to clarify, there are no buses from the front gate of Epcot to the BW. You would have to walk all the way through Epcot and out the International Gateway (and use up a park entrance, if that applies).

It's better to take a bus to the Studios.

You could also take a bus to Studios then take the boat to Boardwalk. It's a slow but lovely and scenic ride. and if you're in for a walk, you can actually walk direct to Boardwalk from Studios (or as mentioned, walk in through the Int'l Gateway at Epcot, between UK and France - or grab the short boat ride from the Int'l Gateway).

Downtown Disney is always an option for hopping resort-to-resort too.

Thanks, this is great to know, I would have thought Epcot would be the easiest since it's so close, I'm glad I asked!

I guess a bus to HS and then walk or boat, depending on mood, is the way to go!

In my signature, there is a link to a web site for WDW Transportation.

You can select the starting point (any WDW hotel, park, DTD) and then select the destination (BW). This will bring up transportation options, possible transfers, and the travel time.
