Bus times on app?

We will be trying to get to AK in two weeks. Early entry starts at 7:30. We would like to be on the first bus. When in our room getting ready is there a way to know how close the bus is? Is that information in the app or on the TV or something? Also, what time is the first bus usually at the resort. We're staying at Pop if that makes a difference.

I think the general advice is to get to the buss stop 90-min before opening. Unless something’s changed, I don’t recall seeing anything in the app that tells you how far away the bus is. I know it will sometimes list times when the next bus is arriving but personally I’ve never found it all that reliable.

If you wish to be on the earliest bus, it’s best to arrive at your resort transportation at least 90 mins before ETPE begins.

I would not count on watching the bus wait times as there will likely be a lineup of people at the bus before it arrives. 90 mins has worked well for many.

Bus times are somewhat accurate, but not completely. And as PP pointed out, if you’re too late you’ll see the bus but won’t be allowed on as it will be full. If you really want to be at the front of EE, 90 mins before EE is when you should be at the bus stop. Buses start rolling around 1 hour-ish before EE.
