Bus timer

can someone explain the bus timer at riverside please. Is it still being used and how does it work? Or not work?

It's just a tv screen that tells you how many minutes before the next bus per park. Was a wonderful perk!!

How accurate was it? Have not been to riverside for some time and have upcoming trip planed for October. I was thinking it was sometime like the amount of time since the last bus left to prevent you from thinking it has not been 20 minutes yet. as they say the buses run every 20 minutes but have found that far from true depending on the time of year we go.

My neighbor just returned and said it was accurate. However, he said it was more frustrating than waiting at the bus stops without one. With the monitor he would see that the MK bus was 10 minutes away, then a couple minutes later it would update to be 11 minutes away. It would get down to 5 then switch back to 10 minutes. He much preferred not knowing as it was frustrating to see a bus headed to POR to be routed somewhere else and now the wait was now longer.

I found it to be accurate and helpful. It gave the time until the next bus arrived for each park, and it was normally accurate within a couple minutes (I guess the bus is en route and can get unexpectedly stuck in traffic, so that's why it can vary by a couple minutes). At the time (October 2014) the screen was only at the South depot (outside the main building/food court). The other bus stops did not have the screen.

At the time (October 2014) the screen was only at the South depot (outside the main building/food court).

Still only at South Depot.
