Which Bus Service do you find the most effecient for getting you to the parks?

Wilderness Lodge, Animal Kingdom Lodge (I would not imagine they share) or the Polynesian (minus the obvious monorail for MK).

Of the three you mentioned, only AKL does not share with other resorts.

WL has a very quick bus ride to the Magic Kingdom but all other routes share with Fort Wilderness and sometimes the Grand Floridian.

You can use the monorail to Epcot from the Polynesian also - very easily if you walk to the TTC to catch it. For the other two parks, it will share buses with the Contemporary and sometimes the Grand Floridian.

Yep - all of that is pretty much the way I figured.

It sounds like the Wilderness Lodge will have the most congested busses and the most stops.

Sometimes in the mornings depending on the day the Wilderness Lodge has shared bus service with the Contemporary and the Wilderness Lodge was the 2nd stop.

The bus service at the Poly (my favorite) is terrible. It is generally full before it gets to the Poly and then heads for the Grand Floridian...

I would take others' opinions before mine, however, during our 1 week stay at Polynesian, we had no trouble with the busses at all. It was super fast and super easy. We took a bus to DHS and AK and had no issues, and we had 6 people..

Soooo true. :worried: The Poly is my favorite as well. As many previous posters have stated, there are stops at other resorts. They don't always fill up, but are likely to. Usually at night, when your feet are dead tired, they happen to be filled to capacity. Go figure.:(

Anyway, the bus service at AKL is superior. Looking forward to it in 4 days. :cloud9:

Ive never experienced shared buses at WL, though as everyone else says it happens. Ive spent about 15 days there only though in total on two different trips sooo.

I've stayed at AKL too. No sharing but its further away. All and all I liked the WL transport better. The boat is nice. The proximity to other resort restaurants is nice. The lake being right there. I think WL is closer to everything except BB and AK. As for which resort I liked better, I couldnt say, although the above are all things I miss when at AKL. I think I'd take WL only because I am somewhat budget restricted and a standard room at WL is not as nice as a water view, which I've had there, but you dont feel as left out as you do at AKL in a standard room. If you can afford the savanah room thats a must do at least once.

AKL doesn't share. It may be further away but it's a direct, non stop trip. And it really isn't that far from MK, Epcot and AK. DtD is the longest trip.
