Bus service to/from Blizzard Beach

I promised my DS13 a visit to BB in mid-June. We are staying at BC so I know we have to take a bus to AK and then transfer to BB from there. On the WDW website, it mentions returning by bus from BB to ASMo and CSR, but it doesn't mention return bus service to AK to transfer to the other resorts. So . . . how do we leave BB to get back to BC?! Is there bus service back to AK so we can transfer to BC? I know it would be easier to use uber/lyft, but we've had a few bad experiences with those services in the past and would like to avoid them if possible. Thank you so much for any info!

I am not 100% sure on the bus system for the water parks, but many of the WDW buses do not do round trip so it is very possible that the bus from AK to BB then goes on to either ASMo or CSR and then to a park. You can always ask the driver that picks up at AK to BB about the return trip. If you do go to ASMo or CSR after BB, I would suggest catching a bus to DHS so you could boat/walk to BC.

If you are not interested in uber/lyft, what about regular taxis? I know they hang out at the resorts and parks. I do not know if they hang out at BB, but you could check when leaving in case they are available to make it a direct trip back.

I'm pretty sure it's just a shuttle back and forth between AK & BB. But it certainly wouldn't hurt to verify that with the driver on your trip over.

In the distant past, buses would run from AK to BB and then to the resorts, but that was discontinued due to Guest complaints that it took too long to get from AK to the resorts.

Thank you both for responding! I will ask the bus drivers to AK and BB regarding our return trip. I forgot about the taxis - thank you for the suggestion! The bus to ASMo or CSR to DHS is a good suggestion as well - thank you! We actually haven't seen GDT at CSR yet, so maybe I'll combine BB with a little visit to GDT to have a look! I have a feeling if the trip from BC-AK-BB is super long, I may cave and do lyft/uber. I sure do miss the Minnie Vans!

This stuff is constantly changing/evolving of course (and probably rapidly now), but in my post-reopening travels I have found taxis in far shorter supply around the parks and resorts than before. I tend to bounce around between transportation methods (rideshare, taxi, Disney, etc) based on mood/timing/location/destination and used to frequently use a cab if we were in a hurry. Not so much since reopening. Of course, YMMV.

Just curious if anyone knows if the bus situation to BB has changed? The website still lists bus service from CSR, ASMo and AK, but a CM told me all resorts have direct buses to BB now . . . ? That would be great, but I'm not sure which info is accurate.

Last week, I saw a sign saying to take the bus to AK for BB. But it could have changed even since then.

Thank you so much for responding! Yes, the BB bus transportation seems to be a bit fluid even in non-covid times. I guess we will just see what the situation is when we get there and prepare for the transfers if necessary. Thank you!

For the record, confirmed on Wednesday 5/19/21 that signage at Riviera still says take bus to AK for BB.

There are signs at the huts at BB for where the bus service goes. I think CSR and ASMo have direct service because you would pass those resorts before you get to AK so to go pass them to AK just to go back the way you came makes no sense.
