Hi All,
DW found out in the Toronto Star about www.golynx.com and this service of $2.00 from the airport to DTD. For the 5 of us, it would be $10 to get there and then stay at a DTD area hotel. Hop on the DTD busses to parks etc.

No DDP, but perhaps good for those on a budget and no need to rent a car?

Thanks ... good find! That may come in Handy in the Future!

Just played with their trip planner .... yes, $2 per person ... 1hr19m .... a family of 4 would be $8. Its a great budget option!

Also, there is a stop at 12800 APOPKA VINELAND RD

Yes, this would be a very budget-wise way of getting to a DTD hotel. Lynx is the Orlando area public bus system, so expect lots of stops. You will get off the bus at the Pleasure Island stop, so you will either have to walk or take a cab to your hotel from there.

You cannot take a Disney transportation bus from DTD to any of the parks. They stopped doing this years ago because so many people were parking at DTD to avoid paying for parking in the park lots. Busses only go to the parks from Disney resorts or from other parks.

Some, but not all, off site hotels have shuttles with limited runs to the parks. Or you could rent a car, but would need to add parking fees to your overall budget.
