We are staying at SSR as a family for the 1st time in less than 2 weeks and are SUPER excited!!!

I was curiuos how the bussing works there and how many bus stops there are. Does anyone know where they are located and how many?

Also, if you could request a place to stay, where would you choose? We have 2 kids ages 5 1/2 and 3 and want to be close to transportation and the pools (especially the one with the waterslide!) I would rather walk a bit to the pool than to have to run and catch a bus every morning though!;)

TIA!

It's all personal preference as you'll find by responses to this post........for us we have a 4 year old, 2 year old and an infant...........I like the Grandstand area which is the first stop. Downside is you have to wait for the other stops, but upside is you get a seat and your the first stop when you get back from the parks. If you stay there, it's also reasonable walking distance to the main pool.

There are 5 bus stops:

Grandstand
Carousel/Paddocks
Paddocks
Congress Park
The Springs

We love the Grandstand! It's the first bus stop, so you're almost guaranteed a seat from the resort. Also, it has it's own pool, and a short walk to the main pool.

Each of these bus stops are located in a SSR section. The Springs section is closest to the main pool/slide but the last stop before leaving SSR to the parks. The Grandstand is the first stop to be picked up, has it's own pool plus is an easy walk to the main pool. Congress Park has it's own quiet pool, a decent walk to the main pool but a close walk to DTD. There are also several playgrounds scattered around the resort.
