Bus service at SSR to MGM Studios & Epcot?

How is the bus service from SSR to MGM & Epcot. We are going up for SSW and will have a car too.......is the bus service good?

We have no problems with the bus service from SSR to anywhere. Except maybe DTD. But we could walk there so it didn't bother us.

I agree we always have a rental but still take the buses unless we intend to do a resort to resort or park to park trip for some reason.

Since it looks so big, do they have bus stops all around the property like CS and CBR or just at the front?

Bus service from any resort during SSW is going to be tough. The sheer volumes of traffic entering MGM that weekend are crazy. After experiencing that once..... we took a taxi to the Boardwalk for about 15.00 and then walked over to MGM.

Yes, we usually take a taxi home each night back to our resort if we are there when the park closes. The busses and monorail is always soooooo busy, especially at SSW. I would assume there is direct bus service from SSR to the parks right? It's confusing because it's a DTD resort so you could either take a bus from DTD or SSR to get to the parks....what do you think anyone?

the DTD buses no longer go to the parks - just the resorts. Too many outside resorts were sending their guest to DD and telling them to just take a WDW bus to theme park. Disney could put up with a offsite guest or two doing this. but when it became a major problems because the offsite resorts were also doing it - they stopped it.

so be sure to take the one at SSR to Epcot or Studios.
