Bus Service at POR

Just curious if anyone has had any problems with the bus service at POR. They share bus service with POFQ, correct? I know busier times of the year, buses will be busier, but how is the bus service generally?

We stayed at CSR last May and had a great time and are considering POR for next trip, but just want to make sure the bus service is good too!

We stayed at the POR last year at the end of August and had no problems with the busing. From what my DH and I remember they had their own buses. We did not go over to the POFQ side. Hope this helps.

In general, I'd say that the bus service at POR is fine. There is shared service with POFQ, but we have never had any problems with the service in our stays there.

I'll be staying at POR in June, and if it helps, remind me after and I'll be glad to share my bus experience. It is my understanding that POR shares buses with POFQ, and they get picked up and dropped off first, but I'll know for sure in June.......

We stayed at POFQ two times and shared bus service with Riverside - no problems with buses. This year we are staying at Riverside.

I had one problem with bus service over Spring Break. We planned on going to AK at 7am for EMH and the bus didn't come til 6:50. One mother and daughter had been there since 6:15 and the 6:50 bus was the first one that had passed. We got there a little before 6:30. We had PS for a character breakfast and wanted to get the Safari done before breakfast. I called POR Guest Services from my cell phone and they called transportation and a bus came within the couple of minutes. It was full of passengers from POFQ though so only about 1/3 of us got on the bus. It never happened with any other park or any other day. I love POR and we'll stay there when we get to go back to Disney. That day was the only exception and I think it may have been a crazy fluke that everyone from POR and POFQ went to AK because when it came a downpour and lots of people fled the park our line was WAY longer than any other resort. In fact, I took a bus to CB then to MGM and back to POR. The rest of our trip and bus service was fabulous though
