Bus service at PO

I'm going to Disney World in October 2005. I have stayed at PO before while FQ was closed for renovations. I have heard that the buses are often full by the time they arrive at PO now. Has anyone had problems getting on the bus at PO since FQ has reopened? Would it be better to stay at FQ?

We stayed at POFQ in February of 2003 and we just stayed at POR this past week. In 2003, it seemed there was an advantage to staying at POFQ. This time, that didn't seem to be the case. There didn't seem to be any rhyme or reason for the bus routes. Sometimes the bus would go to POR first, and sometimes POFQ first. We used the POR North Depot everyday and it seemed like we were the first stop at times. And, there were times when each resort had its own bus and the bus wasn't shared by POR and POFQ. Overall, the bus system was excellent.

Thank you Mike! That was my only reservation about going there. I loved PO the last time I stayed there. Can't wait to get back again!

There is a rhyme and a reason for everything. During the mornings, our dispatches are demand based. Some buses will be FQ only. Others will go West, North, East, South. Others will go FQ South. Others will do an even different route. It's all dynamic, and demand based.

During the afternoon, MK will split FQ to its own bus, and Riverside to another. And Downtown Disney will always go West, North, East, South, FQ.

Thanks Tyler! Just a note: You guys and gals that drive the buses are awsome! The longest I had to wait for a bus anywhere was 10 minutes and that was only once or twice. And you all were always very nice! I'm glad to here that it is a dynamic system. That definitely makes me happier about it all.
