Bus Question

We will be going to the Fort in Dec. 1-10. I am so excited because it's been years since we've been there. My son is in a wheelchair and we will have an ECV. I know there are busses to the Outpost. my question is can we get busses to MK as well as the other parks from there. And is there any boat service from FW to MK that carries ECV.

There are no buses from FW to MK; however, the large boats which run regularly to MK from the Settlement end of the campground will accommodate the ECV. Smaller boats which run to WL and CR will not take ECVs. Buses to the other 3 parks run from the Outpost and all are equipped with lifts. Internal buses which run from all loops to both Outpost and Settlement are lift equipped as well. If you want to take a bus to MK you can take a bus from the Settlement to WL and from there take a MK bus. All of this is not as complicated as it might sound and there are maps at all bus stops and the drivers are very knowledgeable and helpful. You'll find getting around quite easy, and it will be a great time for everyone , I'm sure.

Hey Krosmith, I see we are going the same dates as you and we live in Pasadena. We are planning or should I say hoping to make it all the way to Lake City, Florida before stopping for the night, how about you ??
