Hi All-

I've never stayed in the Epcot area before so I am not familiar with their transportation system. We have an 8:05 ps at Crystal Palace on a non-ee day. What time do the buses start running? What time should I be at the bus stop?

Thanks!!!

There's a thread on the Restaurant board regarding this issue. A WDW bus driver posted that there are Character buses that run early specifically for this kind of situation.

He told me to get to the bus stop (at BWV) by 7:00a for my 8:20a PS at CRT at MK. I believe he said the buses start running for breakfasts around 6:30a - 6:45a.

If you do a search, you might be able to find that post...if I find it, I'll post it here!

I usually recommend being out at the bus stop 45 mins prior to your breakfast at a theme park. (60 if it's at a resort, since you may need to transfer)

It probably won't take you that long, but it's best to plan ahead to be early, just in case.

(15 minutes in case you just missed the first bus, 15 minutes travel time, and 15 minutes to walk from the bus to the restaurant. )

When I made our PS's for Donald's Breakfastasaurus next month, the CM asked what resort we were staying in. I told her BWV and her reply was.."Oh, you had better take a later seating. You'll never get here in time for the early ones!" But, I'm not terribly concerned. We have always been in plenty of time for our PS's using the buses. I know that BW and YC/BC buses have their issues but I'll just plan to leave a little extra time!!

Hey Tyler...I must be living in a cave, but where is it that you're going back to? Are you going back to a bus? What's up?

Thanks to all for the info. We may end up driving and then monorailing over. We'll see where the day takes us!!!

Thanks again!

Indeed, you'll have PLENTY of time to get to the breakfast. Buses for Donald's Breakfastasaurus will start running 45 mins prior to the first seating time. (7:00-7:15, I believe) Taking the bus is the way to go, because it bypasses the toll plaza, which doesn't open until later.

As for where I am going, I am returning to Bus Operations... yaaay! :) I miss driving something fierce. Love Pop, but I need to go where my heart is. :)

Hey, I'm so glad to hear you are coming back to the buses!! Congrats! I'll be there (BWV and CR) August 21 = August 27 and I'll be looking out for you!

I hope I make my CRT at 8:20a on Sunday, August 22! I'll be on the look out at the BWV for that Character bus!

Thanks for all your wonderful help and advice!::yes::

If you do drive, allow at least 50 minutes. It will take about 10 minutes to drive to the MK parking lot, 5 minutes to park, 5 minutes to walk to the TTC (trams will not be running). From there, only the Resort Monorail is open, and that could take 15-20 minutes to get to the Magic Kingdom, including potential wait time. From there, it could take 10-15 minutes to check in, go through the turnstiles, and get to the Crystal Palace.

Oh no!!! Tyler's going back to driving a bus!! Why do I feel this way you ask?? Well, now we go back to Tyler sightings!!! One of my dd's favorite things to do. In fact, she couldn't wait to get to the buses, in hopes that she might get Tyler's bus!!! Our trip in Dec was soooo peaceful. We knew Tyler was safely ensconced over at Pop. A whole new dimension opens up for our trip in 16 days. Yeah!!!!!! We'll be watching for ya Tyler. Glad you're driving again. Watch out for those crazy tourist drivers!
