Bus or park handicapped

Question: we will be staying at the doubletree about 1 mile from DL. Would it be better to take the bus or drive and park at the handicapped parking. Note we will not have a wheelchair so that is not an issue.

By bus do you mean ART? And "better" how? Shortest distance of walking?

Yes. Which would provide a shorter walk. Do you know if the handicapped parking is walking distance to the parks or will we have to get a tram?

The handicapped parking at Mickey and Friends requires you to board a tram. It drops you off in DTD.

The handicapped parking at Toy Story requires you to board a bus. It drops you off on the other side of the resort where ART and the other forms of transportation drop off as well.
