We are going to WDW April 6-11 with 2 kids- ages 2 1/2 years and 6 months. We are planning to use a double stroller (anyone have any input on this?). We are staying at the Wilderness Lodge and plan to take the boat to MK, but are thinking of driving to the other parks. I was just wondering what other people would recommend. My adult brother may be with us, but may stay in the parks or go somewhere else when we are coming and going.

Thanks in advance for the advice. I really like this board and am glad I found it before our trip!

I always have a car and we sometimes drive to AK and MGM and definitely to DTD and to other resorts its great! We just play it by ear. Whatever we feel like for that day. We never drive to MK though.

Also, we used to bring a double side by side for our 2 DDs but now the oldest is almost 9 and the youngest is 5 so no more for us. I say bring it especially if you have your car.

We stayed at WLV with our dd4 & dd1. We used the sit & stand double stroller. We got a car since we felt it would be tough to fold up the stroller quickly, watch the kids, hold all the stuff we had in the stroller, hold the baby, etc to get on a bus! We took the boat to MK which was fine b/c we just rolled the stroller right on the boat. But we took a car everywhere else. We found a great prince & really enjoyed the freedom of coming & going as we pleased. Plus it was great getting in to an air conditioned car!! You'll be fine with a double stroller & a car. Your bro can take the bus if he seperates from the family!!

Except even if you have a car, you have to do this at the parking trams!

We had a car last time and used it a fair amount, but not to Magic Kingdom. But it wasn't at all crowded, so it wasn't like we were riding a parking tram forever to get to the park from our car, either.

True, but the only tram we used was at MGM. When we arrived it was empty so I did not feel the pressure of having to rush to get everything on! We could just throw our diaper bag & dd4 on the tram & I hopped on holding the baby while dh took care of the stroller. It was a breeze.

We always drove to AK and MGM, but we get there early so always got close spots. Or we'd drive to the TTC and take the monorail to MK and Epcot and avoid the busses all together.
