My husband and I disagree whether it would be easier to take the bus or the car from CBR to the parks. Any experiences with cars? I have plenty with buses!

We greatly prefer driving our own car, even to MK. Driving around itself is pretty easy. The signs are easy to follow.
I can leave when I want without waiting. I know I'll have a seat instead of having to stand. And personally, I've never found it to take longer, even MK.
We've had some pretty bad bus experiences. I'd much rather sit in a little bit of traffic getting out of the park than wait on a bus or have to stand and get bounced around.
Last trip at CBR we took the bus, no issues with waiting, buses were very quick but they were crowded. We ended up driving our last two days and it was very easy. We didn't drive to MK though because I think it's much easier to take a bus to MK than to deal with parking and then either a boat or the monorail.
I always take the bus for me and my disability it is easer even with waiting at the end of the day ( really is lesser of two evils ) I think you need to think about the pros and cons of each or maybe try driving some and see how that works for you and your family. you can all ways do the buss if it dose not work out.
at MK you will have an uphill walk to either the ferry or monorail, no tram. I had the fun of pushing adult daughter in wheelchair and keep eye on grandsons as they walked pathway as it was beside a driveway with cars coming by, not fun. something to think about when driving. no hangtag no handicapped parking
If you're using an ECV or wheelchair, it can be a little bit of a tossup- there can be delays in waiting for a bus. I think the better choice, in terms of wait times, to get to the TTC is the ferry- there are no real capacity limits, in terms of the number of devices that can be accommodated.
Of course, if you take the bus with a device, you don't have to load it into your car (which may include breaking down an ECV, depending on your situation). You also don't have to worry about the situation on the hotel end- parking, unloading, etc.
Depends on when you are going - we hate to get into a super hot car in August, almost as much as I hate starting it up and wasting gas while we stand outside, waiting for the blasting AC to cool it down.
With a placard: For AK and DHS there is no doubt it's better to drive. The handicap parking is very close to the entrance especially if you come early. Epcot is a toss up. MK for us is better by car.
We leave our windows a little down for air flow; so, we aren't roasting. Sometimes you can find a shaded area to park which helps, too.
Without a placard I would go with the bus travel.
This is all very dependent on how much standing endurance you have especially if you are walking and without a scooter or wheelchair.
I'd worry about the car getting soaked during a torrential downpour (the August ones are insane!) or a break in if I left my windows cracked. But that's in the summer heat. If it was a winter trip, the car would be fine with closed windows.
