We are going to be at CBR this week and it looks like there may be a few storms. When the skyliner is down due to weather, where do we find the bus to Epcot? To HS? Are the buses at the Skyliner stations? Thank you.

We didn't encounter any down time with the Skyliner when we were at CBR last week, but there is a Skyliner bus station just outside the CBR hub and I believe that is where you would get the bus from. Its just down the ramp, diagonal from the Joffrey's stand. Very close.

If the Skyliner is down when you are leaving Epcot or DHS, I believe you'd just need to go to the main bus area for the parks and catch a CBR bus. There's no way to have a bus near the Epcot Skyliner station since its at the IG, and the Skyliner station at DHS is right next to the bus stops anyhow.

I was there in August. They would shut the Skyliner pretty much daily, and well in advance of the daily storms. They have a minimum distance the storm has to be from the Skyliner for it to operate. So you may think it should be open, only to find it closed. I was in Epcot several days when this happened. They had one bus stop at the front of the park designated as the Skyliner stop, but separate buses came in for each resort. With the long walk from the back to the front, I wish they would send an alert out on MDE when it closes and reopens. One day, I was the last passenger to board before they were closing, and I would guess that some people coming out close behind me would have had to re-enter the park and walk all the way to the front.

I was there in August and Sept and both times Skyliner was stopped bc of storms/rain. From international Gateway, we were instructed to go to Boardwalk Resort to get on a bus. However, I never saw a bus that was designated for our hotel (CBR) so we ended up grabbing a bus to DS and then our resort. Obviously this is an area where Disney could make some improvements. Didn't mind going to DS but sure made for a long return trip back to our hotel.

In the past, buses signed "Skyliner" would pick up from Boardwalk when the Skyliner was down. If you can find a transportation CM at Boardwalk s/he could give you more impromptu information. (It might take a guest inquiry to kibitz him/her that the Skyliner just went down and bustitution needed to commence.)

Thank you! I will keep that in mind!
