Bus from Sanford to I-drive

I have a relation who is going to fly into Sanford Airport on Friday 26 May this year to spend a week with other relatives. They are wondering if there is public transport LYNX, etc that can be taken to Sanford Airport to I-drive. Any info or help would be appreciated.

Have alook at www.orlandosanfordairport.com there's a section on the right that has info on transport available from this airport you can read it and let them know, this airport is very clean and safe we have been through it many time but always have transfers through our holiday company. The taxi drivers are very friendly as are the bus drivers and everone welcome british travellers. Good luck

Although a bit more expensive, you could book a Towncar Transfer. The towncar drive will be waiting in baggage reclaim and will take you direct to the hotel.

There is a public bus service, but it will take forever and you need to change at their downtown Orlando depot. Look up www.golynx.com for all the routes. The best bet would probably be to use the Mears shuttle - look up www.mearstransportation.com. A taxi would be around $70.

I'm not sure if there is a direct bus service from Sanford. Your relative would be better off going on one of the shuttle buses. Mears do a shuttle service, check out their website or phone them direct. Or better still book through the company the plane ticket came from.
