Bus from BC to MK and DHS

We will be staying at BC mid May and we are wanting to do RD at MK one morning when they have EMH that start at 8am. What time should we get to the bus stop in order to make it to RD? What is the earliest times busses start? Also how long do you usually have to wait at the bus stop?

For BC to DHS is it quicker to take the Friendship Boat or a bus or walk?

I've not done rope drop, so I can't really help you with that.

For DHS, usually there are no buses to and from the Beach Club. The boat ride takes about 15 to 20 minutes (with a stop at the Swan and Dolphin). You can probably walk quicker, but I like the relaxing boat ride.

I am at the Swan right now and can tell my experience this week. On Saturday we wanted to get to the MK at rope drop, 8am. I saw a bus pull up here almost exactly at 7, they are supposed to start an hour before the parks open. We were at the bus stop at 7:15 and waited maybe 2-3 minutes. Our bus stopped at the Dolphin, not sure where the Beach club bus may stop. But we were at the MK by 7:30. Plenty of time.
Also did the walk from here to HS. Took about 15 minutes not walking slowly, but not in a hurry either. Beach club would have to add a few more minutes. But the boat is much more relaxing. Also depending on the time of day, it can be hot. It is in the upper 80's this week, so not sure if it gets much hotter.

Buses for early ADRs will start running at about 6:30 a.m. Regular, more frequent service starts one hour before park opening, including EMH opening times.

This past December when I was staying at the Boardwalk Inn and went to the Magic Kingdom for AM Extra Magic Hour, I only waited 5 minutes for the bus and that was after just missing one.

As for getting to Hollywood Studios in terms of distance the Beach Club is the farthest one away. However you can still walk there which will be around a 25 - 30 minute walk or choose to take the boat, so both are good options to have.
