Bus from AK to EPCOT

In planning to travel from AK to EPCOT for a 6:00pm dinner reservation at San Angel Inn, would folks recommend the EPCOT bus or taking a bus to Beach Club and entering though International Gateway? We'd be planning to leave AK around 4pm. If we get there early, we'll go on Gran Fiesta or shop.

Epcot bus since you will be going to Mexico.

If you were going to United Kingdom,for example,I would go Beach Club bus.

I don't see any advantage in going the Beach Club route. You'd have a longer walk that way.

The only reason I'd go with the BC route is if you wanted to stop and have a few drinks along the way to Mexico.
Otherwise, front entrance to Mexico is faster than BC to Mexico. At least a bit faster.
However, if you JUST miss an Epcot bus and a BC bus comes right away I'd probably get on the BC bus

Walking to Mexico from BC is one of the longest you can have. As stated above, the walk from the front entrance to Mexico should be shorter, but it depends on where you are dropped off.

That's a good point about the EPCOT bus stops....it seems that can be the longest walk bus to entrance walk on property.
On google maps, walking distance seems to be 0.6 mile or greater from EPCOT bus stop to the Mexico pavilion
And 0.8 mile from the Beach Club bus stop. (Closer than I thought)

Yep, it's about a wash.
And the more I think on it, the hard part about picking which bus to take is you sort of have to make that choice before you know which is better. The park to park buses and the park to resort buses aren't that close.
It may be a good time to just check out Uber and go to whichever suits you most.
Another to consider, the bag check at the front of Epcot can get the most back up of all bag checks.
IG is usually a quick entrance.

That's the impression I got from looking at pictures of the bus stop signs. Although, it's just me and my sister and we can both move pretty fast so if we see the other one coming we can probably make a switch in time.

I would take the first bus that came along between EPCOT, BC and BW. It's all about the same walk. If you don't mind walking that is. I just like to keep moving forward not waiting. Plus i just love walking through the resorts.

There are usually more buses running to resorts than for park to park. But from AK you might have to make a stop at a water park before you head to the resort. You just have to experiment and see.

That is very true regarding the bag check. Unless right at park opening, the line for the IG may take a minute. However, be warned that if it is not crowded, that almost everyone will be directed through the metal detectors. That was my experience over Christmas. I only ever went through the detectors at the IG entrance.
