Burying a Friend's Dog

It has been a tough weekend here. We are getting ready to bury my friend's lab mix who died on Friday. We live on the river, have some land, and buried the 2 kitties she lived with here.

My heart hasn't broken so much since we lost our border collie and lab mix 10 yrs ago in a house fire. I forget how much a part of our lives they are until we lose them. Our boxer/lab (in dis pic) is getting up there (13 in April) and I hate the thought of losing her

So sorry for the loss of your friend's doggy. I don't get to see my beagle every day since I moved out of my parents' house, but I miss him like crazy. I just went to visit yesterday and got to see him. I gave him tons of attention. He's getting to be older too.. 8 years old now. He'll always be my first love

It is very sad to lose your best fury friend, my heart goes out to you. I have buried 8 dogs (luckily all of old age 14 plus) and they took a little of me every time one passed. Hugs to you and your family and know that he lived a nice life with you, every dog should be so loved. Terri
