Day Eight-Friday10/12
Well its our last full day at WDW. We leave tomorrow. This is the day to finish up things we didnt see. My husband decides he will stay behind at the hotel and relax and pack. So kids, sister and I go to Animal Kingdom to do Camp Mickey, since we missed it on Monday. We see the first showing of Legend of Lion King while munching on some yummy fresh cookies and chocolate milk from the hut right outside the show. We were in the warthog section and very much enjoyed the music and dancing.
Onto to the greeting trails to see Goofy, Mickey and Chip and Dale again (man Chip and Dale are everywhere!). The line for Minnie was wasy too long and we wanted to get to Blizzard Beach, so we told my daughter that Minnie was going for cheese and crackers soon so we wouldnt be able to see her. She is 4 and was not going to take that explanation! She had a mini meltdown on the way to the exit. I promised her we stop at the exit and see if any characters were there. She was muc happier when Terk adn Mushu were there. Got their autographs and then stopped at the xmas shop right outside the AK entrance. Bought a few ornaments then headed for Blizzard Beach.
The place was packed and there were no empty seats. We parked the stroller by the kiddie area and daughters climbed on the ice cubes in the water. We did one trip around the lazy river and a stop at the wave pool and then decided to leave.
We ended up at my sister's hotel, All Stars Music, to swim and play on their playground. We then went back to WL to pick up hubbie and head for MK and our 5:30 PS at Crystal Palace. This was a great dinner, what a dessert bar!! Only 3 characters where, Pooh, Tigger and Eeyore. The baby finally got the hang of the napkin dance and started twrilling his around.
We then headed for Tommorwland so sis and I could finally ride Space Mountain, We did one last Buzz Lightyear and hubbie did Alien. The park closed at 7:30pm and my sis volunteered to watch Declan so we could take the girls miniture golfing. We go to Winterland and end up doing both courses. This place was so cute! Disney sure goes all the way on theming. It was fun listening to xmas music on one course, and beach boys on the other.
We go back to WL to collapse!
