Day Seven-Thursdat 10/11

We take this morning to relax at WL. I wake up early with the baby and let hubbie and girls sleep in. We hot Roaring Forks and take our breakfast by the pool. We swim and relax until the lazy bums finally wake up and join us by the pool. My 8 year old gets her hair braided with ribbon and beads by the pool.
My sister joins leaves her hotel All Star Music to watch the baby while hubbie, girls and I go on the water mice. We enjoy riding on these and go all around looking at the other hotels.

We have got to run now because it is after 2pm and we have a 3pm PS at the Ice Cream Social at Epcot. We hurry up and change, hop in the car and go about 20 miles faster than the speed limit. We get to the Garden Grille about 3:05pm. The ice cream was wonderful and the place was pretty empty so we had the characters to ourselves. It was Mickey, Goofy, Pluto and Chip and Dale. Chip thought I was pretty cute and congratulated my husband! I love Chip!

I thought the ice cream social was a great place to meet characters for a reasonable price.
Now we conquer Future World. We saw Food Rocks (really cute), Spaceship Earth, Body Wars, Honey I Shrunk the Audience. We tried to see the show with Ellen Degenerous, but during the pre-show they informed us that the ride was having technical difficulties and would be closed. We never did get to see it.

Tonight we decided to eat off site. We head to the Crossroads ares and go to our favorite rib place, Tony Romas. We used to live in Seattle and loved going there. We now live in Chicago and there are no Tony Romas there. We just pig out, salad, soup, appetizers, and ribs. WOW at this place salad and bread actually come with your dinner! IMAGINE THAT DISNEY! And our bill was a lot less than any on-site restuarant!

It is now 10pm, we have an hour before Downtown Disney closes. We run to the World of Disney and spend the entire hour shopping! Got some great souveniers and then headed back to WL for bed.
Tomorrow- AK, BB and MK!

Sounds like a nice day. Not too busy. We also loved the ice cream social. Great ice cream and uncrowded character time! Too bad you never got to see Ellen's Energy Adventure. It's one of our faves at Epcot.
