i entered the SB contest and won the ticket.
after that and after i first posted here, i found out i could change my rate for the super bowl promo which is really a super saver rate.
it is valid for the 4 night and more stays.

3 years ago the rates dropped out of the floor on the ap rate for those dates. they did drop last year also.

if rooms don't fill up, there is always a chance that the ap rates will come down. aaa rates haven't dropped like ap rates have in the past few years.

my dates are oct 8-13.
will have to meet up with you homie and say hi ya' while i am down there.

go ahead and book at the rph. call so you get the best rate out there.
you can't always find them on the website.

if they don't drop, you can cancel 5 days out without penalty.

what you want to do at this point is to guarantee your room for your dates.

i would think the rates would be changed in september or the first part of october if rooms are not filling up.

you can call to modify your rate to the lower rate once you are booked.

i do that every year.
i book january 1st usually and use the aaa rate which is high at that point.

the rates start to drop in the summer.
ap rates last year for the dates i have again this year hit $149 with the ap.

I haven't received the Super Bowl voucher yet (not sure if I will), so I'm booked at the next best rate for my trip from Oct. 7 to Oct. 11. That rate is the AAA rate and I was only able to get that rate by calling.

OK thanks! I think I will call them and see what they say. We will definately have to plan a meet. I think I am just going to do Sunday night HHN. I did 2 nights last year but that was just DH and I. This year we are bringing the kids and only the older ones can go. They were really jealous last year when we brought home pictures. I really wanted to do HRH this year but the $20 or so per room per night difference could be our souvie money. Don't get me wrong I very much liked my stay at RP but my boys are really into music. Well thanks for the info I will try that. I really do not want to do the car rental, or the free transportation to park, or the no FOL
