My DH and I will be visiting London for two days in the middle of October before continuing on to Paris and DLP. A friend of mine mentioned that her mother used to shop at a Burberry factory outlet when she visited London. Does anyone know if this outlet does exist and where it might be located? We will be staying with relatives in Notting Hill and would have to use the Underground or a bus to get there. Thanks for your help!

Hi
There is a Burberry Factory Outlet in Hackney, I think it is in Chatham Place? I can't remember the exact name. When my DH gets home from work I will update this thread with the correct address for you. We drove there when we went there so I don't know what buses would get you there but I can find out the nearest tube station for you. It sells loads of last season/end of line things. It is possible to pick up bargains, I went there looking for a specific bag but was unlucky. They had a beautiful Mens Leather 3/4 length jacket that was £780 originally and they were selling it for £175, so quite a saving. It is packed with loads of stuff but to be honest a lot of it was not that good, so it is a bit hit and miss if you know what I mean? If I was to go back, I would go back with lower expectations. As I said though I will get the correct address and tube station and update you later

Thanks Natalie and Bonzo for the info. My one DD is a Burberry fanatic and has asked me to bring back anything Burberry. She would be happy with an umbrella or even a hat. Is the outlet far from Notting Hill (that's where we are staying). I don't mind taking a train but can I get one from Notting Hill straight to the outlet or do I need to switch somewhere? Any idea of the cost or how long it might take? I would like to go there and then try to get to the British Museum in the afternoon. Thanks again for your help!
